In those days when He hath brought a grievous fire upon you, 1. 在那日子，祂對你們施以嚴重的火， Whither will ye flee, and where will ye find deliverance ? 你們要逃往哪裡？又要從哪裡找到救贖？ And when He launches forth His Word against you Will you not be affrighted and fear ? 當祂向你們宣揚話語時，你們難道不驚慌嗎？ 2. And all the luminaries shall be affrighted with great fear, 2. 所有名人都將因極大的恐懼而驚恐， And all the earth shall be affrighted and tremble and be alarmed. 全地必將驚恐、顫抖、驚慌。 3. And all the angels shall execute their commandst 3. 所有天使都將執行他們的命令 And shall seek to hide themselves from the presence of the Great Glory, 並尋求隱藏自己，遠離偉大榮耀的臨在， And the children of earth shall tremble and quake; 地上的子民必顫抖顫抖; And ye sinners shall be cursed for ever, 你們這些罪人將永遠受詛咒， And ye shall have no peace. 你們將無安寧。 4. Fear ye not, ye souls of the righteous, 4. 義人之魂，不要害怕， And be hopeful ye that have died in righteousness. 在義中死去的人，要有盼望。 5. And grieve not if your soul into Sheol has descended in grief, 5. 若你的靈魂已降臨陰間，也不要悲傷， And that in your life your body fared not according to your goodness, 你一生中身體不符合你的善良， But wait for the day of the judgement of sinners 但請等待罪人審判的日子 And for the day of cursing and chastisement. 還有那天的詛咒與責備。 6. And yet when ye die the sinners speak over you: 6. 然而，當你們死的時候，罪人會為你們說話： " As we die, so die the righteous, 「當我們死去，義人也會死去， And what benefit do they reap for their deeds ? 他們從這些行為中獲得了什麼好處？ 7. Behold, even as we, so do they die in grief and darkness, 7. 看哪，我們也如同他們在悲傷與黑暗中死去， And what have they more than we ? 他們比我們還多什麼？ From henceforth we are equal. 從今以後我們平等。 8. And what will they receive and what will they see for ever ? 8. 他們將永遠得到什麼，又將看到什麼？ Behold, they too have died, 看哪，他們也死了， And henceforth for ever shall they see no light." 從此以後，他們將永遠看不到光明。」 9. I tell you, ye sinners, ye are content to eat and drink, and rob and sin, and strip men naked, and acquire wealth and see good days. 9. 我告訴你們，罪人，你們甘願吃喝、搶劫、犯罪、剝人衣服、獲取財富、過美好的日子。 10. Have ye seen the righteous how their end falls out, that no manner of violence is found in them till their death ? 10. 你們是否看過義人，他們的結局如何發生，直到他們死前都沒有暴力？ 11.
